1. Local Data Storage
Compare Value operates locally on your device. All comparison items you create, lists you save, and product photos you take are stored directly on your phone's internal storage. We do not own servers, and we do not transmit, sync, or sell your comparison data to any third-party servers.
2. Device Permissions
The application requires specific hardware permissions to function optimally:
- Camera & Photo Library: Used strictly to let you capture or attach photos of items and price tags to your lists. We do not use your camera in the background.
- Microphone & Speech Recognition: Used to provide hands-free voice input of shopping items (e.g., dictating "Apple 1 kg $2").
3. Advertising and Analytics (Google AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the App. AdMob may collect and use data including your device's Advertising ID, IP address, and interaction data to serve personalized ads and evaluate ad performance.
- You can opt out of personalized ads in your Android Settings under Privacy > Ads, or in iOS Settings under Privacy > Tracking.
